She was recently with a host family in South Carolina with 2 boys, ages 5 and 7 yrs old, including the oldest with autism. Her diverse experience includes roles in a workshop for individuals with severe disabilities, a residential facility for children and adolescents with special needs, a kindergarten, and a residential facility for adults with autism. Growing up in a large family with six siblings—five of whom are younger—Aileen has developed a natural ability to be playful, nurturing, and reliable in her caregiving approach.
