Why should my hostfamily get the award:
My family is the best because they’ve supported me from the very beginning. They welcomed me into their family like their third child.
From the start, I felt like I was part of this family, and even though it wasn’t easy for me at first, they always supported me and helped me feel comfortable with them, just as they continue to do. If I have a problem, I can always go to Karen and Brian, and they help me, or we look for a solution together.
When my uncle died, it was very hard for me to be so far away from my family, but Karen and Brian helped me overcome my grief and supported me during that difficult time.
The kids are incredibly sweet, and even though it was difficult at first until they got used to me, I’ve grown very fond of them now. And I always enjoy spending time with them and doing things together.
Likewise, if I want to plan something, do something special for the children, or even take a spontaneous trip, I can always talk to Karen and Brian about it. They always have an open ear for my wishes and give me a lot of freedom. It’s the same the other way around, and I think that’s fantastic.
We work together very well, and if I have any ideas, whether for the children or anything else, they are always open to them, and vice versa.
It’s a mutual give and take, which makes working together much easier.
Another reason is that they are a very warm and welcoming family and always make you feel like you’re in a loving home.
For me, it usually doesn’t feel like work, but rather like living with a wonderful family.
They deserve this award because they are simply incredibly loving, wonderful, warm, and attentive.
