Maria is an ABA Therapist with a strong academic background, holding a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She brings over 4,000 hours of hands-on childcare experience and is qualified in both infant care and special needs care. Originally from Colombia, Maria has lived in the United States for the past six years and is currently based in Centreville, VA. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and describes herself as empathetic, adventurous, and active. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new cultures, traveling, outdoor sports, horseback riding, and relaxing with a good movie. With six years of driving experience, Maria is confident and responsible when transporting children. She is excited about the opportunity to support your family starting in April!

Stephanie is from Vineland, NJ and is a dedicated Childcare Professional and ABA Therapist with 12 years of experience and over 10,000 hours of hands-on childcare expertise. She has worked in diverse settings and is deeply committed to fostering children's social and emotional development. Known for her integrity and open communication, Stephanie brings confidence in her teaching methods, structured approach, and ability to create a positive learning environment. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys reading, music, attending church, and spending quality time with family and friends. Laurel is from Semmes, Alabama and is a dedicated Social Worker and Child Nutrition Coordinator with qualifications in both infant care and special needs care. With over 10,000 hours of experience, she has worked with children of all age groups. Known for her adaptability, coachability, and caring nature, Laurel also prides herself on being open-minded and attentive to the needs of others. Macy is a Care Professional located in Suwanee, GA with certifications in both infant care and special needs care. She brings over 7,000 hours of childcare experience and has supported children with a variety of diagnoses, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, OCD, ODD, and sensory processing disorder (SPD). Macy has extensive experience caring for children aged 0–6 and is well-versed in early developmental milestones. Leandra is a 21-year-old Speech Therapist with qualifications in special needs care. She has experience supporting children with ADHD, autism, ADD, Down syndrome, and developmental delays. Though she may be shy at first, Leandra is eager to build strong connections and make a positive impact. As one of six siblings, she values family and enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, watching hockey, and engaging in creative activities. Currently working on obtaining her driver's license, Leandra is excited and motivated to support your family starting in June!

Franka is a 23-year-old Nurse with qualifications in special needs care. Her diverse childcare background includes babysitting, supporting children in a kindergarten, and working in both a rehabilitation facility and a hospital. Known for her reliability, empathy, and strong communication skills, Franka excels at creating a supportive and nurturing environment. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball and sharing her skills as a youth volleyball coach. Marina is a passionate and experienced caregiver from New York with over 15 years in various areas of childcare, from teaching religion and coaching sports to leading classrooms and working with children of all ages and abilities. With a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and a Master’s in Creative Problem Solving and Leadership, she combines creativity, empathy, and adaptability in her approach to caregiving. She's also certified in Art Education and has worked extensively with children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum, ADHD, PTSD, and dietary restrictions. Alongside her childcare work, Marina has a strong background in food and beverage management, where she honed valuable life skills such as multitasking, patience, communication, and problem-solving—skills she brings to her caregiving practice. Her love for enriching children's lives and belief in the power of community make her a dedicated nanny and educator. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors, playing sports, cooking, creating art, and exploring culture and history. An exceptional and seasoned driver with experience in snowy conditions and transporting multiple children, Marina is excited to return to childcare full-time, bringing her diverse talents to the right family through Apex beginning in August!

Hanna is a 22-year-old Educator with over 2,000 hours of childcare experience. She has worked with children with special needs, including ADHD, developmental delays, and Down syndrome. After completing her education in the summer of 2024, she began working full-time in a daycare, where she is responsible for a group of 15 children, fostering their development in a structured and supportive environment. Describing herself as open, positive, and calm, Hanna is dedicated to creating a nurturing and engaging atmosphere for the children in her care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, paddle boarding, traveling, and connecting with friends and family. With four years of daily driving experience, Hanna is confident navigating both city and highway traffic, including driving in snowy conditions. She is eager to transition into a one-on-one care setting to expand her experience and is available to join your family beginning in August!

Aileen is a dedicated Special Needs Care Provider with over 3,000 hours of childcare experience, working with children and adolescents aged 3 to 18 across a variety of diagnoses. Her diverse experience includes roles in a workshop for individuals with severe disabilities, a residential facility for children and adolescents with special needs, a kindergarten, and a residential facility for adults with autism. Growing up in a large family with six siblings—five of whom are younger—Aileen has developed a natural ability to be playful, nurturing, and reliable in her caregiving approach. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and crocheting. Aileen has been driving daily for six months and is experienced in navigating various weather conditions, including rain and snow. She is excited about the opportunity to build a meaningful connection with your family and will be available to join you in August!

Emmy-Luisa (Emmy) is a 22-year-old Occupational Therapist with qualifications in both infant care and special needs care. She has experience working with individuals diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, anxiety, autism, developmental delays, and Down syndrome. Passionate about fostering independence, Emmy is dedicated to helping her clients reach their fullest potential through a holistic and individualized approach to therapy. Describing herself as patient, empathetic, and kind, Emmy values building meaningful connections with those she supports. Coming from a large and close-knit family, she enjoys spending quality time with her siblings and nieces. In her free time, she also enjoys scrapbooking, listening to music, sharing coffee outings with family and friends, and traveling. Currently living independently, Emmy is in the process of obtaining her driver’s license. She is excited about the opportunity to support your family and is available as soon as August!

Sonja is a 26 year old Educator who is infant care qualified with over 8000 childcare hours! She has been working two years with children aged 10 months to 3 years and previously completed training in child development, including motor skills, personality growth, and perspective-taking. Her passion for working with children began during a voluntary social year with preschoolers, which led her to become an au pair in Sweden and pursue formal training in early childhood education. Sonja values creativity, reading, outdoor play, and fostering children's independence. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, socializing with friends, and staying active—currently training for her first half marathon. Sonja is a responsible and careful driver with seven years of experience. Hoping to broaden her knowledge, she looks forward to experiencing child care in a different cultural setting during her year in the U.S. beginning in August!

Vivian is a 21-year-old Educator with qualifications in infant care.
