Founded in 2021 by music therapists Sophie Kohn and Brooke Slemmer, NeuroMotif aims to be a community fixture of neurodiversity-affirming care and culture in Park Slope, Brooklyn and beyond. By making music accessible through high quality evidence-based services using a client-centered approach, we inspire confidence, connection, and communication in our clients and their families.
Our board-certified music therapists and teachers are highly trained and experienced in working with individuals of all ages, abilities, and neurotypes, and we specialize in supporting neurodivergent children through verbal and non-verbal communication, transitions, and sensory challenges.
