Frontera Parent Pathways program offers group, consultative, and one-on-one guidance to parents of autistic children. We will work with you to identify effective strategies to increase your child’s engagement in play and family routines and to enhance your child’s communication.

Get to Know Dr. Cynthia Anderson

Dr. Cynthia Anderson is a Clinical Child Psychologist with over 30 years of experience working with autistic children and their families. Holding a PhD in Clinical Child Psychology, Dr. Anderson has spent decades developing and leading innovative parent-mediated interventions, including delivered via telehealth, making support accessible and effective for families across diverse settings. A prominent researcher, Dr. Anderson has received funding from prestigious institutions including the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Department of Defense (DOD), and the Institute of Education Sciences (IES), underscoring their commitment to advancing evidence-based practices. Her research has been published in over 80 peer-reviewed articles, books, and book chapters. With a wealth of experience and a compassionate, affirming approach, Dr. Anderson is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of autistic children and their families.
