About the Founder, Mary Ann Hughes
Mary Ann Hughes is a proud mom of two amazing boys, each with different levels of Autism. For 20 years, her main focus has been helping her sons succeed in school and life. This meant researching therapies, finding specialists and schools, exploring biomedical treatments, and advocating for their needs every day.
After 21 years of marriage, she unexpectedly faced divorce while being a mom to special needs children. During this time, she had to set aside her feelings and concentrate on her kids. Her priority was ensuring they were emotionally supported and that all their needs were met both now and in the future.
She did everything possible to ensure her kids would have the best future, despite the high costs of caring for special needs children throughout their lives.
After a tough two-year divorce that was both emotionally and financially draining, she went to trial. The result was a great outcome for her family, considered a standard in special needs divorce cases by many.
