Meet the Founder, Kelly Ferguson
After graduating in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2000, he faced a spinal cord injury at the C5 level, leading to limited hand function and reliance on a wheelchair. In 2015, he ventured into designing and manufacturing adaptive devices using a 3D printer, which he also sells on his website. Alongside this, he offers engineering services and prototype development through his company.
Despite his disability, he pursues his passion for art, creating abstract paintings and adapting tools to enable his artistic expression. His artworks are available for viewing and purchase on his website, where he also showcases 3D-printed sculptures. Currently residing in Morro Bay with his wife and son, they’ve dedicated efforts to redesign their home for full accessibility, marking a journey of resilience and creativity.
